Cap-Tor xd epoxy

Epoxy-coated carbon steel screws for corrosion resistance and color matching of deck boards for composite/PVC decking and cladding. Approved for ACQ-treated and other pressure-treated wood.

Main features:

• Extra deep star recess to prevent cam-out

• Peripheral cutting head to cleanly pierce the hard outer layer of capstock blades

• Reverse thread to avoid the formation of bumps (mushroom effect) and surface defects

• Tri-lobed shank to reduce screwing torque

• Type 17 self-piercing tip for faster and easier insertion, while reducing the risk of splitting

• Available in several colors to match major decking brands

Installation Instructions:

• Install flush with decking surface. Do not overdrive.

• Use 2 screws per joist for optimal fixing.

• Predrilling is recommended when fastening within 1 from the end of a deck board.

• Recommended: For a clean and professional finish use the SMART-BIT® Depth Setter Tool in combination with screws.
